I have not had the opportunity to post on Gaming Vent yet and I cannot pass up the opportunity to mention some long awaited changes to the Call of Duty series, specifically Black Ops 2. As some of my friends here know that some game design choices in Modern Warfare 2 and 3 cause me to have fits of rage, complete with the vein in my head popping out.

So what is this “change” or should I say they most awesome addition to any CoD game in a long time. The ability to shoot out vehicles’ windows and then shoot a player through said destroyed window.  GREATNESS… No longer will I have a blown up Toyota truck that is missing it’s doors block my shots through those same missing doors. I mean really… The doors are GONE.. Why can I not shoot through it! But that frustration is gone in Black Ops 2. High fives were had all around when the first thing we tested in the game was walking up to a vehicle and shooting the windows.

So there ya go, Infinity Ward take note and stop the insanity. If the vehicle does not have doors, or if the vehicle has windows, don’t stop the rounds from going through.. Or and stop writing shitty network code. But that is a rant for another day.
